I’ve been marketing on the internet since 2001 and now I would like to take all the things I’ve learned in this time and help you grow your business. I also have an extensive background in the technology industry and you can read about that at the end of this article.

This website, and my company, are all about helping small businesses grow. When it comes to the internet there are certain things you can do to grow your business. It all revolves around leads: generating them and managing them. My company provides a service to set up a lead generating website for your business. Let’s talk when you have a chance. By the way, no business is too small. If you’re in business then you need leads to grow it.

A little bit about me. I worked at IBM for  21 years. The last 7 years of my career at IBM I was in management responsible for implementing and managing a “lead management” process and deployment for our call centers in Latin America. At the time we had centers in Mexico City, Bogota, Buenos Aires and Sao Paulo. Anyway, during this time I learned about the importance of “leads”, how to generate them, and more importantly, once you had a lead, how important it was to call the lead quickly and work it. I won’t go into much detail here, but you can imagine, with a company as big as IBM there were a lot of systems and processes to track the leads all the way to closure.

I ended up leaving IBM in June of 2005 to become an entrepreneur  and take what I learned at IBM to start my own company. Surfside Marketing Inc was launched in March, 2006.
